Original Flowers

I have a thing for flowers.They are each their own time capsule. Mammoth Elephant Ears are Granny. Zinnias are Gran. Hydrangeas are Bubba. Flamingo flowers are a weekend trip away. Cat Tails are fishing. Gladiolus are our wedding. Lillies are my Mama.  Magnolias are the trees I climbed growing up. Gardenias lined my driveway as a child. And, Canna Lillies are drinking wine on the patio.

Painting takes me back to these spaces that hold some of my dearest memories. I hope they fill your walls with beauty. Just as they brought color and life to their original places.
